It is harder to digest solids because you have to chew, then your body has to break everything in the solids down, for when you digest liquids it only has to take out proteins.

Vince-liquid is easily digested but solids are not

Why is it easier to find solids and liquids than gases?

Humans are more use to engaging and thinking about solids than liquids or gases. They are easier to find because they are what we are looking for.

Why is the gravitational pull on liquids more noticeable than pull on solids?

Liquids are easier to move around more.

Why do apple juice freeze faster than water?

Apple juice is denser than water and has more solids in it than water. Solids are easier to cool than liquids and thicker liquids are easier to cool than thinner liquids. Therefore, apple juice freezes faster

do solids freeze faster than liquids?

yes solids freeze faster than liquids

How do you store solids?

Solids are easier to store than either liquids or gases. You can put them on a shelf, or in a box, or on the floor, and so forth. We have lots of options.

Why do solids heat up faster than liquids?

Solids are more compact than liquids. The particles of a solid are closer together. Since heat is the kinetic force between particles, the closer those particles are the easier it is to excite them.

Is there more liquids than solids on the earth?

On the surface, more liquids. Considering the whole Earth, much more solids than liquids

Why do you use liquids not solids or gases in thermometers?

because liquids can give us the right temperature but solids and gases

Compare and contrast solids and liquids?

Solids have a definite shape and volume, with particles that are closely packed and have little movement. Liquids, on the other hand, have a definite volume but take the shape of their container, with particles that are more loosely packed and able to move past each other. Liquids flow and can be poured, while solids maintain their shape.

Why gases are easier to compress than solids or liquids are?

Gases are easier to compress than solids or liquids because gas particles are more spread out and have more space between them. This allows for the gas to be compressed more easily by reducing the volume of the container, as opposed to solids and liquids which have their particles closer together and experience more resistance to compression.

Why are liquids more heavier than solids?

Liquids are generally heavier than solids because the molecules in liquids are more densely packed together and have more mass per unit volume compared to solids. Additionally, liquids tend to have a higher density than solids, making them heavier when compared in equal volumes.

Why is the gravitation pull on liquids more noticeable than the pull on solids?

The gravitational pull on liquids can be more noticeable than on solids because liquids are less rigid and have the ability to flow and deform. This allows liquids to respond more readily to the gravitational force, creating noticeable effects such as waves, tides, and the movement of liquids in containers. Solids, on the other hand, typically have a fixed shape and are less responsive to gravitational forces.
