As Physical Therapy is in the science field, it relates strongly to Chemistry. PT’s use chemistry to understand the chemical reactions that occur in the body in order for different muscles and joints to function. This is a huge piece of Physical Therapy because the entire point of being a Physical Therapist is helping clients improve or recover the movement of their body, and mostly with the movement of muscle. Another piece of Physical Therapy that relates to Chemistry is how different types of medication affect our body. Many Phyiscal Therapist’s are required to suggest medication to clients to support their needs, and help with pain relief.
