Yes,

Every once in a blue moon Alabama does have snow. And when that snow comes, it is usually a light dusting that has completely melted by mid afternoon. However, there has been the rarer than rare occasion when we get 2 maybe 3 inches that lasts a full 24 hours. During a once in a lifetime (maybe 2!) event in 1993, we had an actual blizzard and some places had 12 inches of snow.
