This is a liquid. Note that the volume of a liquid will change a bit with temperature, but remains relatively the same. Also note that science teachers are fond of saying that a liquid takes the shape of its container, which is pretty much the same as saying it has no fixed shape.

All common states of matter (gas, liquid, solid) can change in volume, some just more easily than others. For most practical purposes, however, the volume changes associated with pressure changes in solids and liquids are negligible, whereas the volume changes of solids and liquids with changes in temperature are generally more evident (but still small compared with gases). Gases readily undergo volume changes with changing temperatures and pressures.
