I think because in a desert, the cactus doesn't find much water. So, to save water it does not expel much water out of itself, and as stomata is responsible for expelling water of the plant, the cactus has less stomata
yes.because it makes oxygen for people to survive
the stomata is on the stem because that is where photosythisis takes place
To minimize water loss from leaves through transpiration, leaves in cacti are miniature or absent.
To reduce water loss as much as possible.
A cactus has no leaves.
Cactus are desert plants.Their leaves have turned into thrones.
Leaves provide extra surface area for water to evaporate out of the plant. In the arid desert, plants need all the water they can get.

cactus
No. Some may be considered as leaves but not really. Christmas cactus for instance grows in thin segmented stalks reminiscent of leaves. Cactus flowers have petal that are leafy and green like leaves but not really leaves. barrel cactus and saquaros obviously have no leafy protrusions beyond their flowers.
A cactus leaves get sunlight and they make photosynthesis and they get water from that and they save the water
a cactus has spiny leaves for protection and so the water wont evaporate so easily.
