Did William Shakespeare perform in front of the queen?

He didn't. Although his company did perform at court, that was not how they made their money. Nothing suggests that Shakespeare wrote his plays on commission from the Queen or anyone else: they usually premiered at the public theatres and were afterwards played at court.

No. Shakespeare did not write any of his plays for either of the queens England had during his lifetime. Playwriting did not work like that. Most playwrights worked for whichever playing company was willing to pay them for the script. They approached the business manager of the company, told them the plot and asked for an advance. Eventually they would produce the script which would then belong to the company that bought it. Shakespeare started out writing plays in this way (this is probably how Titus Andronicus and Henry VI got their start), but around 1594 he became a member of the theatrical company The Lord Chamberlain's Men. His job was to be an actor, but he was also included in the company as the house playwright. That meant he wrote exclusively for The Lord Chamberlain's Men from 1594 until he retired in 1613 and he wrote every single play he produced during that time, including Romeo and Juliet, for the company. Queen Elizabeth had absolutely nothing to do with it.

As far as we can tell, Shakespeare did not write anything specifically for royalty, although his plays were frequently performed at court.
