Who is the foolish character in Pride and Prejudice?

Mr. Collins. I should think that Lydia would qualify as foolish as well, and in her own way, so was Charlotte Lucas.

What is Pride and Prejudice rated?

Since the 1995 Pride and Prejudice was a TV miniseries, it was not given are rating as a move, but my guess is that it would be rated PG, as the Jane Austen movies have been. It has no bad language, sexual conduct, or violence whatever. As to critical ratings, it is rated 100% by the critics at Rotten Tomatoes. The 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie was rated 85%.

Which Pride and Prejudice movie is better 1995 or 2005?

Yes,Pride and Prejudice got the best review from over 50 other 4 star movies all shown in theater, Pride and Prejudice got 5 stars in Hollywood in my eyes although some people may come to judge it at first glance, it really takes hard character to prove that it is one of a kind.

What is the difference between the movies Bride and Prejudice and Pride and Prejudice?

The difference would be the report itself. Elizabeth has a much stronger personality in the book then she does in the movie. As well as in the book the mother is more over the top. Lastly, and most important, in the book they never kiss on the lips, and in the movie they do (Which may seem small, but it's symbolism, and it's pretty much all about the problem of the novel and exagerates the thyme.)As well as the report it's self is the difference would be the fact that the is much more detailed conversation in the book than the movie. There is also the sheer fact that movies never do grip a book entirely because most movies can't have everything books do(because the time of a movie has to be reasonable.)

She and Wickham had been living together in London. If they returned home unmarried it would be a disgrace.

Who is the best character in Pride and Prejudice and why?

While I love Lizzy and Jane, I would have to say that Mary is also one on my favourites. Her likeness of Mr Collins is something the first time I watched the movie I didn't quite catch. She shows that she would be very comfortable with a lifestyle such as Mr Collins' but since she is just plain, he showed her no inclination. She does not obviously show that she likes him but you can see that a few times she tried to impress him.
