YES!

The Catholic Church would NEVER refuse an innocent child that wishes to become a child of God!

Sometimes a priest may DELAY (NEVER deny) a baptism if there is concern about the child being raised in the Catholic faith, but that should not be the case if the mother is Catholic.

That's between you and God, isn't it? If a church doesn't believe you can, maybe it's time to seek another church.

The Unitarian Church, United Church of Christ (the Congregationalists), Episcopalians, and Evangelical Lutheran Church of America would all welcome you and your child.

Legal answer: if you have custody the choice is yours.

How do you get married in the Catholic Church if only baptized and already married by law?

Being baptized is the integral part of being Catholic - once you are baptized, you are part of the Catholic Church. As such, if you were baptized in another church by another group such as the Protestants or Orthodox, you are probably validly baptized a Catholic, as a valid baptism is considered a sacrament of the Catholic Church regardless of who administers it. You can check the validly of your baptism by submitting the actions and words used to a priest. If you are not yet Catholic, being married in a Catholic Church will not be a viable option for you. If your partner is Catholic, however, you may approach the priest with the desire of securing a mixed marriage, which the Church grudgenly may allow provided the non-Catholic party agrees to certain terms. You can review these with your parish priest. A mixed marriage cannot receive the special sacramental blessing of the Church as this is reserved for Catholic couples and so is highly discouraged and can only be granted with a dispensation. The Catholic Church does not recognize civil marriages. If you or your spouse or both are Catholic and you married outside the Church out of ignorance of your obligation to have a sacramental marriage, you must tell the priest. If you deliberately underwent a civil ceremony despite knowing the above, this is a grave sin and must be confessed to a priest and absolution received before you can continue. Your civil marriage will be declared ineffectual and you and your partner will have to live separately, as single people, until a real marriage is conducted between you. You must approach your parish priest with your desire to rectify things and present the normal things that require consideration before a marriage: any impediments, religious status of both parties, any previous marriages, where and how any previous ceremonies may have been conducted, etc. Be open with the priest that he may be able to correctly guide you.

When a person was kicked of the Catholic Church?

ExcommunicationRoman Catholic AnswerI could be wrong, but I don't know of anyway to remove a person from the Catholic Church. If a person is a Catholic, then they remain a Catholic, subject to all the laws of the Church until they die. An excommunicated person is under a specific penalty in which they can not receive the Sacraments or be given a Christian burial, but they are still required to attend Mass, and abide by all the other regulations. A person may remove themselves from the Church's jurisdiction, but they are the only ones who may do that - the Church cannot.

Do all Catholics receive baptism?

That depends. you can still be a Catholic and believe in that faith even if you are not baptized. For example the Church wouldn't baptize my cousin because his parents didn't take him to church every single Sunday. He still goes to a Catholic school and believes in God and stuff.Catholic Answer:To be considered a Catholic, even a Christian, baptism is required. The person mentioned in the first answer, if he truly wants to become a Catholic, needs to talk to the school administration who can arrange for him to talk to a priest.

What is the Catholic church's stand on a Catholic man dating a non Catholic divorced woman?

The Church is against divorse, but, I think if you were not married in the catholic church to begin with, it's all right as long as you don't lead him away from his religion. The Church is against divorse, but, I think if you were not married in the catholic church to begin with, it's all right as long as you don't lead him away from his religion.ANSWER:Reality: The Catholic Church would not support such a relationship b/c it could lead to a desire by both parties to marry. Before a divorced non-Catholic woman could marry a single Catholic man (or Catholic man w/annullment), the non-Catholic divorced woman would also need to obtain an annulment through the Catholic Church. If you love this man, get started with the Annulment process; it's slow.
