However, before He ascended to heaven, He gave His apostles a commission to "go out to all the world, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you..."
Thus it was Our Blessed Lord through His Church, the Bishops and priests, that He spread Christianity to the world.
