However, it is firmly believed by Christians that God's word is final and does not ever become outdated. It's actually quite simple, according to our culture today it is not "standard" to see a man in a dress. Men wear pants because that is what society deems a man's garment. Our social norms tell us that skirts are for women, therefore by wearing skirts, apostolic women are strictly wearing a woman's garment. So apostolic women choose to wear skirts for both modesty and obedience to God's word.
