I am not sure what you mean by images. The Bible talks about the church as being the bride of Christ or the body of Christ. Those who have accepted Jesus as Lord are called spiritual brothers and sisters in the Lord. We are told that we all have different gifts so just as the body has a head arms, legs, eyes etc. so the people in the church have different gifts. Some function as an eye another as a hand etc.
