Many people claim Christmas is a Christian tradition, to celebrate the life and death of Jesus Christ.

However historians have proven that Christmas celebrations have existed long before Christ was said to have been born. A similar holiday with the exact same traditions as Christmas around the exact same time of year was celebrated by Pagans in England hundreds of years before Christianity existed.
As a matter of fact, many holidays we celebrate are Pagan holidays, such as Halloween for another example.
