According to The Bible, Moses lived to be 120 years old. In the biblical account, he died shortly before the invasion of Canaan. For more information about Moses, please see: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/moses-in-history-and-tradition

The question seems to be confusing Moses with Noah. According to tradition, Moses was born on the 7th of Adar, 1392 BCE, and died 120 years later in 1272 BCE.

The first books of the Bible give us very detailed information about exactly how long each of the ancestral figures lived, from Joshua all the way back to Adam. After the Patriarchs, the great Hebrew leaders were Joseph, Levi, Moses and Joshua. On the biblical evidence, Joshua lived to 110 years old.

If we want to know whether they really lived to these great ages, we only need to look at the numerology behind their ages (or the ages of the other legendary biblical leaders) and find a fascination with elegant series and the number 17 in their lives:

Name

Lifespan

Pattern

Joshua

110

5x5 + 5x17

Moses

120

7x5 + 5x17

Levi

137

7x5 + 6x17

Joseph

110

5x5 + 5x17

The consistent use of series involving predictable factors and the number 17 tells us more about the early Hebrews than the lives of their heroes. We do not really know how long Joshua lived, if indeed he was a real, historical person.

Opinion: you need to consider that the bible is a collection of Hebrew mythology and no real evidence exists for a mass exodus of Jews through the desert. With this in mind the time it took is zero because it never happened.

Jewish answer:

According to Jewish tradition, the Plagues took place over the span of one year (Mishna, Eduyot ch.2). The actual leaving of Egypt took place in one day, since the Israelites had prepared beforehand.

The eveidence for the Exodus rests, for the time being, in the unbroken national chain of tradition of the Jewish people. See also the attached Related Link.

Did Zoroaster live before Moses?

Based on the available evidence, we can be reasonably certain that Zoroaster really did exist. Scholars say that he probably lived before at least 1700 BCE and possibly much earlier. There is no extra-biblical evidence that Moses ever existed, and a careful analysis of the biblical stories indicates that he likely did not exist. Neverthless, if the biblical account is accepted as true, Moses led the Israelites from Egypt around 1440 BCE. Either way, Zoroaster was before Moses.

What 3 parts of moses life helped him free the hebrews?

Moses lived for 120 years, 40 years in Egypt, 40 years in the land of Midian and 40 years leading the Hebrew people in the way to the promised land. ANSWER: Moses lived in Egypt for 40 years and learned all the ways of the Egyptians. The next 40 years Moses lived as a shepherd, was married and His father in law (Jethro) was a priest of Midian. It has been said by many scholars that Jethro was a priest of the one true God. If this is so he and Moses had a lot to talk about as Moses had been raised by his mother, Jecobed for some years and no doubt was told about God by her. It was during the last part of the desert years that Jehovah called Moses to deliver the children out of Egypt. The next 40 years Moses did in fact lead the children out of Egypt and was the go between of God and the Israelites. It wasn't Moses' experience that led God to call upon him. All the work of bringing the Israelites out of Egypt was God's doing. Moses was the instrument.
