prophet amos
These prophets themselves wrote their own books.
Zephaniah and Zechariah.
Azal mentioned in Zechariah 14:5 is a valley due south of old Jerusalem that the Arabs call Wadi Yasul, and the Israelis call Nahal Azal. Detailed information about Azal and its discovery can be found at http://zechariahfourteenfive.wordpress.com, or by searching the Internet for zechariah + azal + yasul.
Zechariah lived in Jerusalem, which was the capital city of Israel during his time. He was a prophet who lived during the 6th century BC and was known for his prophecies about the Messiah and the restoration of Jerusalem.
Zechariah was a Jewish prophet who lived during the time of the Babylonian exile. He prophesied about the eventual restoration of Jerusalem and the coming of a future king, whom Christians believe to be Jesus. Zechariah's visions often contained symbolic imagery and messages of hope for the people.
JEREMIAH and ZECHARIAH were contemporary with DANIEL. But ZECHARIAH began his seven years of prophetic ministry twenty-seven years later, in 410 B.C. So we could say he was the next prophet.
