Florida has seen its coldest days in years. I unfortunately have found many many dead. (frozen) lizards all over the place.. I bring them in the house in a coverd bowl some come back from the dead..telling there story of the afterlizard life.. lolol.. no seriously... I went out to buy some meal worms.. but they don't eat them.. or wont.. the store is out of pinhead crickets 3 stores.. very poopular to them. like filet mignon. lolol. anway does anyone know how long a green anole can live without eating? i have water for them. and worms.. and its to faaaareeeking cold to let them out still .. its Jan 7. 2010. we will have snow this weekend.. I drempt it last week. everyone laughs at me. the will see. anyway let me know if anyone can help me. love, lazylizard.
so far i just got my green anole... it has gone three days i think... maybe two. i dropped some grass in its cage and only one grass piece was left i guess it ate it, but i wouldnt recommend grass. best keep your food live and not on the ground because they cant see things under their eye level. hope my green anole eats soon.(petsmart closed to soon to get crickets DX)
From what I've heard iguanas can without food for weeks
