You may see signs of histamine being released in the body as a result of a bite. you will see the area become red and inflamed (erythema and oedema). If you have a bite or a sting and you are severly allergic to it (ie, a bee sting) you may suffer from an anaphalactic shock. in this instance the person should be immediatly treated with adrenalin.
