An aardvark is a nocturnal mismatched mammal that appears to have the snout of a pig, the ears of a rabbit, body of an ant eater, and the feet and tail of a kangaroo. Really quite an interesting creature and can nearly rival the platypus in it's oddities.
"Okapi" is simply the Japanese word for "aardvark." There are no discernible differences.
Here this will explain exactly what a aardvark does; Aardvarks eat the termites and ant mounds as to limit the number of them.

The koala is not a bear, but a marsupial. It is native to the continent of Australia.
Aardvarks eat termites, ants , and one kind of fruit, called an aardvark cucumber. The aardvark cucumber is also called an aardvark pumpkin. Aardvarks find a termite or ant nest by walking along, swinging its head from side to side. When it smells a concentration of ants or termites,it follows the scent to where the colony is,and then begins to dig into the nest with its powerful claws. After that, it licks up the insects with its tough tongue. They can eat up to 50,00 termites and/or ants in one night.

An aardvark is normally a pale yellowish gray, although it may be stained various shades of earth colors depending on the soil in which it burrows.
Aardvarks can squeak but they choose not to. Instead of squeaking, which would attract their natural predators (wild boars and ocelots), they emit an incredibly low frequency sound undetectable by other animals. The aardvarks then use a fairly complex language to transmit messages.

The word aardvark means "earth pig" in Dutch. In addition to having a pig-like snout, this mammal resembles a pig in the way it uses its front feet to dig. Like the tail, the snout tapers at the end, and it has two nostrils that can be closed. Although the legs are short, they are powerful-strong enough to break through rock-solid termite mounds. The back legs are slightly longer than the front legs. Despite having soles on the hind feet, aardvarks move on their toes and use the front feet, with their long claws, for digging.
Aardvark (orycteropus afer) also known as Earth Pig and Ant Bear run in a zigsag fashion to elude their enemies. Aardvarks are not fast runners but with their short powerful legs and long blunt claws they can quickly dig a defensive burrow.
An aardvark's tongue can be up to 12 inches (30.5 centimeters) long and is sticky to help extract termites from their mound.
Their name comes from South Africa's Afrikaans language and means "earth pig."
They have very soft teeth, without hard enamel, and are a mammal with teeth that have no roots. The teeth grow and are replaced during the aardvark's whole lifetime.
Aardvarks bark and grunt. To call their babies, they often bark in a high-pitch.
Aardvarks eat termites, ants, and fruit that is found underground.
aardarks eat insects, inscets are animals, therefor aardvarks are carnivores.
