in theory you could but why would you? It would defeat the purpose of having a pistol. You should just get a stand alone grenade launcher with a pistol grip instead.

Definitely AEG's (Airsoft Electric Guns) which are machine guns. The model dosent really matter but I highly recommend the M4A1. I have worked with several M4's and have been happy with each of them. M4's are the most popular airsoft guns for a good reason; They're great guns and are the most upgradeable out there. Plus, since so many people use them, if you run out of ammo you can always borrow a mag from a team mate with another M4 because almost all the clips are the same.
No matter if you get an M4 or any other AEG you want it to be between 350 and 420 FPS with .20 gram BB's. And make sure it has Full Metal interiors.

Where can you get a cheap PPSh-41 Airsoft Gun?

Currently you can't as none is made. I think there are a few custom ones out there but they arn't cheap if one sale at all. However, there are rumours a production PPSh 41 is in the works, not got any clue on price however.

It also might be illegal where you live (for example in California).
The reason people are pushing for stricter laws against airsoft is because of people who are stupid and irresponsible enough to play in public places. People just passing buy could be seriously hurt, and police officers could mistake airsoft guns for real guns and end up shooting someone for real.

Usually not, but some guns do have interchangeable magazines. For example, the Type 97, FN200, Tar-21, and L85 can all use M4/M16 magazines, but there is always the problem of some magazines not fitting quite right or not feeding well.

However, in some major cities and population centers the definition of a firearm within their respected ordinances includes propulsion by spring or compressed air, thus subject to applicable laws.
- A 6 mm minimum orange tip must be present on the barrel end of the airsoft gun to identify it as such for any commercial sales. [1] Once sold, local laws may vary on whether or not the orange tip must be kept - in many places, no laws exist restricting one from removing or replacing the orange tip, but one should check the local laws before making such a modification.
- Airsoft guns' trademarks must be removed where the manufacturer does not have an existing license agreement with the manufacturer of the real fire arm. For example: Classic Army has a licensing agreement with Armalite, so the trademarks can stay on imported replicas of Armalite's weapons. In practice enforcement is hit or miss. You might get an "unlicensed" gun through customs with trademarks intact, while a licensed gun might be held in Customs by an uninformed customs agent. House Resolution 607, sponsored in early 2007, would change this if passed, allowing imports to retain trademarks even if there is no agreement between the real firearms manufacturer and the replica manufacturer.[2]
- In addition, the similarity between genuine firearms and airsoft replicas is close enough to provoke interaction with local law enforcement personnel if an airsoft gun is carried openly in public.
- If someone were to, for example, attempt a robbery with an airsoft gun, they would be charged as if the airsoft gun were a real firearm.[citation needed]
- New York City requires that all realistic toy or imitation firearms be made of clear or brightly colored plastics; furthermore, New York City makes possession of any pistol or rifle or similar instrument in which the propelling force is a spring or air, unlawful without a license. See New York City Administrative Code § 10-131(b) and New York City Administrative Code § 10-131(g)(1)(a)[3]. The rest of New York State is unaffected by these laws, and there are no state regulations limiting or prohibiting airsoft.
- Michigan allows the purchase of Airsoft guns. However, they must have an orange tip on the barrel.
- Texas allows Airsoft guns to be owned but most cities require that the Airsoft guns be discharged only while outside city limits.
- Some cities in Illinois considers shipping or distributing airsoft guns illegal. It is officially now not illegal to remove the red top of the airsoft gun
- According to New Jersey state law, airsoft guns are classified as firearms, and therefore, must follow state firearm laws regarding posession and purchase. Due to this, "technically", airsofts are legal in New Jersey. If you are going to play, you must do so on a private property.

New Jersey law does NOT classify airsoft guns as firearms. In fact New Jersey Legislatures have expressly rejected that classification. Because the projectiles are less than 3/8" in diameter they ARE NOT a firearm under New Jersy law. See NJ Statute 2C:39-1.f

Yes, however, the gun you are buying must be "Canada-approved" or made specifically for Canada. By that I mean that there certain legal restrictions on what kinds of guns and what color an airsoft gun can be in Canada.

most likely no, the sport is not big enough to have the same potential as an olympic sport as compared to others like basketball, or running.
actually the sport is plenty big enough, the problem is a few reasons, first of which is tournament rules vary from league to league so there is not one set of accepted rules, also there is a wait list of sports waiting to get into the Olympic games, in a nutshell we would need a set of unified rules and then wait to get in for who knows how many years

In any electrical device, feeding an amount of voltage which is greater than what it was intended to use is prone to causing damage to it. If your airsoft gun came with a 1.2v battery, it was designed to be fed from a 1.2v current, and placing an 8.4v battery in it will cause it to feed from a current seven times greater than what it was intended to use. This creates a risk of overloading the motor, which, for electric motors, typically causes it to burn out. This creates heat, naturally, which can also have the effect of melting down the materials used to manufacture your airsoft gun (as far as I know, they're mostly made of plastics), which will render it not only inoperable, but also damage it beyond repair.
So, the short answer would be no, and you should use only the recommended battery for your airsoft gun.

Muzzle Velocity does not determine range. One cannot tell the range when given the muzzle velocity. Try looking up the guns specs or repost the question with the name of the product.
