Does an ak 47 bullet go straight?
It is impossible for a bullet to fire straight. In order to hit a target 100 yards away it has to travel a few inches above the target when it is 50 yards away, then at the 1/2 way 50 yard point gravity overcomes the upward trajectory and starts pulling the bullet down. All bullets travel in an arc, the further you are away from the target the larger the arc. Also long distance snipers have to aim the shot a few feet to the right or left of the target to overcome the effect of wind. Also the earths rotation causes the Coriolis Effect which will change the direction of the bullet at long distances.
The bottom line is that no bullet will ever travel in a straight line
Vietnam Issue Bandolier 100 Round for 7.62 mm linked Ammo?
During the Vietnam War, "sixty cans" (M60 machine gun ammunition cans) came 200 rds per can; in two bandoleers, each one hundred round bandoleer was in a OD colored cloth bag which had OD cloth handles. The cloth bags were always discarded (quickly). "Sixty cans" were easily identified, as they were narrow, not wide metal cans, like the .50 caliber ammo cans (called "fifty cans"). Each 5th round was a tracer, same with the fifty ammo. Tracers were painted with orange tips on the bullets (they might have been meant to be red, but they appeared to be orange in color).

Can you use 5.56 mm ammunition in a ruger 223 mini-14?
From SAAMI:
With the appearance of full metal jacket military 5.56 ammunition on the commercial Market, it has come to the attention of the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute (SAAMI) that the use of military 5.56mm ammunition in sporting rifles chambered for Caliber .223 Remington cartridges can lead to higher-than-normal chamber pressures and possible hazards for the firearm, its user and bystanders.
Tests have confirmed that chamber pressures in a sporting rifle may be significantly higher in the same gun when using military 5.56mm ammunition rather than commercially loaded Caliber .223 Remington cartridges, according to SAAMI.
SAAMI points out that chambers for military rifles have a different throat configuration than chambers for sporting firearms which, together with the full metal jacket of the military projectile, may account for the higher pressures which result when military ammunition is fired in a sporting chamber.
SAAMI recommends that a firearm be fired only with the cartridge for which it is specifically chambered by the manufacturer.
yes, the military size is the same as 223 ammo, although powder loads may be higher in the military ammo
Your gun has jammed how do you get the bullet out?
VERY CAREFULLY!
Open the action of the firearm. If possible, remove the barrel of a handgun , or remove the receiver of a rifle.
Using a wooden dowel that is smaller than the bore, insert the dowel in through the muzzle of the barrel, and TAP the dowel to push the bullet back to the receiver end of the barrel. Avoid using a metal rod; you don't want to damage the lands and grooves of the barrel's rifling.

Can early airlights use 38 p ammo?
I wouldn't use +P ammo if the barrel is not specifically marked for it. Especially in an S&W airlite. I would not be apprehensive about using +P ammo in a Ruger Service Six, however, since it is much more robust. Even tho it is not marked +P on the barrel. +P did not exist when those Rugers were made, at least not mine.
