The Oklahoma Sooners have won eight Big 12 Conference championships, in 2000,2002,2004,2006,2007,2008,2010, and 2012 (with Kansas State.)

According to mcubed.net, the SEC leads 80-54-2, 44-26 in bowl games. This looks to be more correct than the data below, as they provide the games and scores. The cfbdatawarehouse info includes games before there was an SEC. The SEC began in 1933. mcubed records are in parentheses.

And since the beginning of the '07 season, it's 17-9 in favor of the SEC. Also, Chicago (0-2), Nebraska (1-2)

That is 95-77 in favor of the Big Ten. I don't know if all those games were while the teams were in those conferences though and I believe it is current to the beginning of the 2007-2008 season.

They have a rivalry between Texas,Texas Tech,and Oklahoma.There biggest rival is between Marshall but Marshall is not a Big 12 team.They also have a rivalry with Virginia Tech,which is an ACC team.

The Big Twelve Championships officially begin with Men's Cross Country on the 27th of October, this year and end on the 26th of May with good old fashioned baseball, next year.

As stated above, these are the records of current teams in each conference and include games played by teams when they may not have been a member of either conference. For example, Penn State's totals include games played prior to them entering the Big 10 in 1993.

The conference was officially formed on February 25, 1994, when the former Big Eight Conference merged with four Texas schools that had been members of the Southwest Conference, which had just disbanded. Athletic competition in the conference commenced on August 31, 1996.
