Do Healthy infants usually develop the same motor skills in the same sequence?

No, not really. There are stages todevelopment and not all children follow the same sequence. Some will crawl and then walk while others start to walk. There are guidelines of time frames, but those are just guidelines. The child development books state that most children walk around 9 months of age, but your child may walk at 7 months or 10 months that doesn't mean there is any thing wrong with your child. Let's say your child isn't walking at 12 or 15 months then I would worry because that is an extended time for the development of walking. So, to answer your question all people develop at their own rate of development some are later than others and some start sooner. Girls usually develop faster than boys and other factors may be involved in how fast or slow a child develops motor skills.

How long if at all can a baby survive off a dead pregnant woman's body?

It would depend on the circumstances- obviously the hostile environment of say, an elevator collapse ( I was thinking of 9-ll) or an auto crash would not bode well for either. there are many cases- where one survives and the other dies- and there are a good many accidental factors- it is difficult to go into all of them.

What are the steps that you would have to take to become an pdiatrician?

In high school it's important to have good grades in biology, chemisty, physics, and all parts of math. You want to at least have a 3.5 GPA or higher in high school. Once finished with that you need a BA (4yr) degree. Any BA dree is fine just if you cover the bio, chem, physics, and math needed for the requirements. But I advice a premedicine degree which I would find much more helpful. In college you want to maintain a min. 3.7 GPA as the medical field is competitive and so are the colleges that offer the programs, you're competing for a high demand job. After that you are free to go to medical school which is 4yrs. You'll get "hands-on" experience and during the 3rd & 4th sem. you can choose which area you wish to be in. Primary Care is the route to go for if you want to be a Pediatrician. Then you have you residency which is the hardest 3yrs of your education. At this point you'll be responisible for caring many patients. During the 3yrs they'll refine your skills and challenge you in many ways. It's emotionally, physically, and mentally hard. But you learn many great things from the experience.

Hope this helped... (:

What is the difference between statutory private and voluntary settings that care for children?

Statutory settings: these settings have to be available for children to attend by law. This means that legislation has been passed which requires the government/local authorities to open them. This is the job of the secretary of state, to make sure that statutory services are provided. Private settings: these settings make a profit from providing their services, like a business. They are inspected to ensure that the health and safety of the children are maintained. Voluntary settings: these settings are provided by organisations such as charities. They rely on most or all of their funding from donations. They are also staffed by volunteers. This setting does not make any profit and any spare income is used to make their activities more educational.

Why do kids make fun of smaller kids?

Children are born with large egos (since caring only about yourself is a necessary survival technique), and have to be taught to have empathy for others. As they get older, they tend to "go along with the crowd" when it comes to bullying and making fun of others, since they feel if they are part of the group that is doing the bullying, they won't be picked on themselves.
