Wow. Ive never seen that said before. I actually love dragonforce, and their technique of speed and agility, but that i have to admit is not everything. Sure, Herman Li is one epic guitarist. He's gotta be somewhere within atleast the top 10, but I think perhaps Guns n Roses' Slash (or they used to have Slash, Slash now plays with Velvet Revolver), and i also think Kirk Hammett must come close to the number 1 spot. Another to mention is John Petrucci of Dream Theater who is also a contender, perhaps I'd give him a No. 9, perhaps 8 spot. Here's my top 10:
