Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong was introduced in 1981 as an arcade platform game. This was also the first appearance of Mario, who was only known as Jumpman in early game versions. Although Donkey Kong has appeared in several titles, including racing games, he primarily appears in platforms, such as Donkey Kong Country.
