I think it's been a *looooong* time since it was an accepted standard that having more than one earring, or wearing a single earring on a particular ear(ie: the right side vs. the left side) indicated that the person doing so was homosexual...even in mainstream north america(i know that it was already an old story which nobody adhered to or took seriously when i was in grade school).
Traditionally, and once again in this day and age, men are free and able to express themselves in a manner such as multiple piercings without fear of it indicating anything other than that person's own unique aesthetic choices.
