Can you show me a bar graph and line graph?
show me what happens when the market for peanut butter after major hurricane hits the peanut-growing south?
Does a pie graph have to have a title?
Certainly, you should choose a title which states what the information in the pie graph is all about. It would also be good to give some indication of what each piece of pie represents; easily done by using coloured pencils with a "table" telling what each coloured section represents.
What if the trend went up and down on a line graph?
It can either mean that the situation changed or that the trend needs to be based on averages of more values (more smoothing).
Does bar graph show frequency?
It can. The most common type of bar graph is a frequency bar graph in which values of a variable (typically a categorical variable such as type of vehicle or college major) are on the x-axis (abscissa) and frequency (as in how many vehicles or people have that value) is on the y-axis (ordinate). But there are many other types of bar graphs so although they likely show frequency, they may not. Check the label on the y-axis to find out.

What part of a line graph shows trends?
Trends are shown on line graphs by lines of best fit that are based on data points.
What line in a line graph is up and down?
The Y. The bottom one is the X axis, the up one is the Y axis and the depth one is the Z axis (not always used)
Can you display data from a circle graph on to a bar graph?
Yes you can. First, determine the percentage of the whole is represented by each slice of your circle (or pie) chart. Then make a bar for each slice that is the same percentage of the height of you bar graph. If you graph represents absolute number out of a total, the same principle applies.
What is the advantages of a bar graph?
You can see the differences in the groups you are comparing. You can see what is the greatest and what is the least.
Hope this helps!
What's the difference between a line plot and a line graph?
A line plot is just a graph with points and a line graph the points are connected.
What kind of graph is pictographs?
A graph that has its data represented in little symbolic pictures.
How do you find mean for a histogram?
You need to add all the values shown on the histogram and then divide that sum by the number of values (samples).
Example:
There are 5 values: A, B, C, D, E.
Mean value is: (A+B+C+D+E) / 5
Where you use bar graphs in real life?
We use it in marketing, climate figures and to represent our finance.
Does a pie graph always equal 100 percent?
The pie always represents the whole, or 100% of a thing. That is one reason to use a pie graph. It helps you visually 'get' the actual proportions of the things that make up the whole.
