i have tried bud laced with salvia. there are a few things to consider like what kind of bud are you using and how strong is the salvia. with bud its gonna be an indica(body high and relaxed) or sativa(cerebral high) or hybrid(both indica and sativa). and the THC content of your bud matters because it can increase the effects of the salvia. with salvia it can be as weak as 5x(very weak trip for most if they trip at all) and as strong as 180x(like being on a very intense acid trip). if you smoke high grade bud like me(like og kush, sour diesel,green crack,trainwreck,granddaddy purp, kali mist,bubblegum) and use anything above 80x you are gonna trip hard for about 15 min on the salvia but you could feel the effects of the salvia for hours to a smaller degree . what i did was smoke my usual throughout the day and at about 6pm i smoked the salvia i had(180x and 160x). man, i could not stop laughing to save my life. i thought i had turned into the letter "c" of the alphabet. salvia is unpleasent to alot of people who have tried it. some don't even notice it. during the trip you will have no idea whats going on and it seems like forever but its only 15 min. your trips will have similar things about them but everytime is different. with the bud, it will most likely help relax you. that goes for most people that i know. although, after we smoked green crack(very powerfull sativa/ known for its euphoric feeling and one of a kind high) my friend took a hit of salvia as i babysat him.(its a good idea to have someone you trust with you to make sure you don't get hurt or do something stupid). my friend held the salvia hit in for about 20 seconds, but then he started to freak out. he stared at the carpet and acted like he saw something running around the floor. we had the intro to the rollin stoned CD from kmk on and 10 seconds after it started he began to scream and rock back and forth crying histarically. my friend thought he was being dragged to hell by demon children. so it can be very scary, but it can also be spiritual. i have had trips were i thought i was in a different dimension. so have fun expermenting and if you have never had salvia before, i would not take any that's stronger than 60x. trust me.

I wouldn't even recommend the 10X extract. Beginners should start with the non-extract plain dried leaf Salvia Divinorum. I would recommend chewing the leaves for at least half an hour first. Smoke it later. Lastly, do not take any Salvia Divinorum at all if you're trying to get high or if you're immature. It is a sacred herb used for spiritual purposes. Use it with respect.

Salvia divinorum does not often produce seeds (and almost never produces viable ones). Also, the seeds are quite small and contain little Salvinorin A. Therefore, the foliage of S. divinorum is the part of the plant smoked for psychotropic effects, not the seeds.
