Due to the extremely thin nature of the phone, battery life wont be drastically improved, but thanks to Apple's amazing optimizations and battery saving techniques, the phone should last throughout a day of medium use. All in all, its the new thinner design and bigger size that changes, and if that's what you want, then go ahead and buy it.
