John Lewis

John Robert Lewis was an American politician and civil rights leader who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1987 until his death in 2020. Lewis was famed for his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, most notably as a member of the "Big Six" who organized the March on Washington in 1963.
