Sorry, I don't think there's any way to read it online....if there is, its definitely illegal. I've been wanting to read this book too, so I would just check it out from the library or buy it, or find someone to lend it to you.

it depends which way you want to flip it! if you are starting the right way up, then it can be very easy to capsize, just lean over! although you normally learn very quickly how far you can lean without capsizing and it will become second nature, of course it does depend on the type of kayak you are in, different designs behave differently. if you are upside and want to get back up, then yes it is easy to do, but with practice, once you know how to roll a kayak it becomes very easy indeed and requires very little strenght, its all in the technique.

Usually the best value is found in a used kayak. Many people start with a new boat then lose interest. So there is a good market in nearly new boats. Of course you need to know what type of kayak suits your desired use and skill level and the best way to determine this is to take a course in your locality.
