First ask the store if they can order it. Some stores will order stuff in custom order if a customer wants it.

There are 'extinct' flavors (not made anymore) and there are ones that are available just regionally or just in one country. If they are available in your country... (I know several of the 'blue berry' type flavors were pulled for resemblance to toxic things like antifreeze and windshield wiper fluid).

Try ebay if you really want something not available locally or as 'extinct' or made outside your country.

Ask relatives that live in other cities (especially much larger cities than you reside in) if they can get the flavor there...

Start by typing into a good search engine, 'what flavors of koolaid are still made' and you will get a lot of places including sites that list the present and out of country and extinct flavors; and places to buy online.

Using tap water or drinking water from the grocery store, which has a pH of about 8, the pH of Kool-Aid mixes we used (cherry, tropical punch, grape, and lemonade) ranged from 2.6 to 2.7. NO. Anything that has added sugar, corn syrup or other sweeteners is terrible for young children. The number one cause of childhood obesity is juice. This includes orange juice, cranberry, apple, and all other 100% fruit juices. The commercials would have us believing that 100% juice equals healthy. Unfortunately, it is not true. Obviously real fruit juice is always better than kool-aid or other sugar drinks, but in extreme moderation. It is all based on serving size.

Think of it this way...

1 serving of grape juice is 1/3 of a cup.

1 serving of apple juice is 1/2 of a cup.

If you give your child three large 8 oz glasses of 100% juice each day, it's like eating 15 servings of grapes in a day, only without the fiber.

To take it a step further, juice or kool aid or whatever that has no pulp, is absorbed as fast as eating candy, which stresses out the pancreas and leads to diabetes. If you eat an apple, you are getting all of the natural fiber, so the body takes time to break down the sugars. Instead of a sudden rush of sugars like with juice, they get a slow steady stream which is the way nature intended it.

In a nutshell, always choose fresh fruit, never juice. Drink water only. If it's too plain, add a squirt of lemon, lime juices, or a drop of flavored extract like mint or raspberry.
