New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans were originally founded as the Charlotte Hornets in 1988, and moved to New Orleans in 2002, as one of the 15 teams of the NBA's Western Conference. In 2013, the team was renamed the Pelicans and the Hornets became the new name of the Charlotte Bobcats (NBA Eastern Conference).
