Do you need to be concerned if small bumps that do not hurt appear on a four year old's head?
When I was younger I suddenly noticed bumps all over my head which the doctor said were cysts. They were completely harmless and my parents were given the option to have them removed (which would require shaving some hair), or to just be careful when brushing my hair, etc. not to "catch" them and they would eventually go away. They did go away on their own. I hope you find an answer as to what they are, and hopefully they are nothing to be concerned about. God bless, Cathy

Balanced multiple maintenance solution with 5 dextrose?
A balanced multiple maintenance solution with 5% dextrose typically provides essential electrolytes, such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, along with glucose to meet energy needs. This type of solution is used to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance in patients who may not be able to eat or drink adequately. It is particularly useful in clinical settings for hydration and to prevent hypoglycemia, especially in patients receiving intravenous therapy. The 5% dextrose serves as a caloric source while ensuring proper hydration and electrolyte levels.
