A perissodactyloid is an perissodactyline (perissodactyl-like) humanoid creature. It is also any animal similar to a perissodactyl (i.e. horses, rhinoceroses, tapirs, etc.).

If aliens exist, some alien races could possibly have perissodactyl characteristics, such as horses, zebras, rhinoceroses, etc.

The Perissodactyla are an order of mammals. They are also called the odd-toed ungulates, because they have an odd number of toes. All tapir, including the Malayan tapir, are members of Perissodactyla.

Hyracotherium ("Hyrax-like beast") (also known as Eohippus) was a dog-sized perissodactyl ungulate that lived in the Northern Hemisphere, with species ranging throughout Asia, Europe, and North America during the Early to Mid Eocene, about 60 to 45 million years ago. It was once considered to be the earliest known member of the horse family before being reclassified as a palaeothere, of a perissodactyl family related to both horses and brontotheres.
