By the end of "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi," Rikki learns the importance of bravery and responsibility in protecting his adopted family. Because Nagaina was going to bite the little boy that found Rikki and then they were gonna fight but Rikki got one of Nagaina eggs and was gonna smash it but Nagaina didn't want him to so she give up and ran away into a house and Rikki ran after.After night Rikki never came out and every animal thought he died but when they were about to leave Rikki came out and killed Nagaina. Then the garden became safe and there was no more killing again.

Rikki-tikki actually killed Nag by getting a grip of Nag's head and once his eyes turned red, he held on to the body tightly over the floor,so Nag banged against the tin side of the bath and he closed his jaws tighter making sure Nag is dead.

He steals them, but I'm not sure he destroys them. He wanted to stop cobras from attacking the boy.

Nagaina is Nag's wife, a cobra. She was going to kill Rikki while Nag distracted when they first met but Darzee warned him. After Rikki killed Nag he found her babies (eggs) in the melon bed and killed all but one to bribe her with it. She took the egg and slithered into her hole with Rikki on her tail. When Rikki came out he said that she wouldn't bother then anymore but we don't know what happened she could still be alive.
