Many people will have different opinions, but honestly my word I would say can be highly respected, I am quite a Silent Hill fanatic and pretty much study it to the core. I look beyond it just being monsters and fog but into the actual anthology of it.

The worst Silent Hill installment was easily the movie for millions of reasons, which naturally makes Homecoming the worst of the games as it borrows largely from the movie. The movie was made by a team that had no business making it in the first place and so did Homecoming, so that on top of borrowing from the movie results in a very incorrect and flawed Silent Hill experience. However, Homecoming is overall a pretty good game and a fun and interesting survival horror. If one were to look past Silent Hill and look at it as more of a Stephen King or Sci Fi channel type of story then its a good experience. But when tagged with Silent Hill its very much full of errors. So, good horror game, bad Silent Hill game. It is pretty much the opposite of everything in the Silent Hill golden age (silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3).

because there still in the "otherworld" that's why it was still foggy there still in silent hills grip probaly for a story for the seqel e.g when rose was in the school while the darkness "otherworld" was there (when the zombies are around) and she was leaning up against one of the lockers crying chris was in the school as well but couldn't see here because he wasnt in the "otherworld" its like that

If you are a Christian with strong beliefs be prepared.... Silent Hill is Very gory violent and has a lot of sacrilegious things in it. the main character isn't usually a bad person despite some of them being murderers and crims but the religious stuff has to do with the "Order" or the cult of Silent Hill. the cult is just another Religion so you don't have to agree with it because it isn't Christianity or anything if that's what your worried about. the Order does a lot of evil things and there deity Sameal is born through pain and suffering (Alessa being burned alive) so I don't recommend you look into this cult or anything but the game is about trying to stop the cult so how can that be bad? and furthermore Silent Hill is just a game it has no relevance to real life what so ever so it is not a "sin" to play it.

Walter excessively disfigured their faces and removed their wombs and lungs. The Patients tend to appear together in groups, but some are alone on various occasions. They make an odd grunt that resembles belching sounds when they are hit or when pushed down a flight of stairs. They represent Walter's anguish about his birth, the reason he removes their wombs. He is even seen disembowelling one of them in a cutscene." I'm not completely sure how belching sounds are supposed to represent it, but in short, its showing the fact that Waltar has removed their lungs and they can't scream.

No. They stayed dead in what was supposed to be irony, but instead went against everything in the games. Basically, they went home, but Christopher couldn't see or hear them. That's why it still looks foggy to Rose and Sharon, but sunny to Chris. That's also why Chris only heard white noise on his phone when Rose called to say that she was coming home. Hopefully the sequel will fix that.
