well it depends on the tempeture...but for hot water it takes like maybe 34-40 minutes to dissolve in water and for cold water.. would maybeee 45-55 minutes to dissolve..but you guys should test it just to make sure ;)
You would have to measure how long a rainbow is, and then measure the size of one skittle. Then, divide the total length of the rainbow by the size of the skittle to see how many skittles you'd need.

*UPDATE* -- According to a pack of Skittles purchased 7/27/10, Skittles are gelatin- and gluten-free. There is also nothing to suggest animal by-products in the ingredient list. No, there is no pork in Skittles.

yes if you talking about the candy sweet is not meat of anything so it is suitable in case you have diabetes then hole different story
Strict vegetarians will not eat any animal derived products, which are often contained in sweets and candies (like gelatine, for example). I do not know whether any food stuffs like this are contained in Smarties, but it would usually say "suitable for vegetarians" on the packet or tube, if no animal by-products were used in the composition or food dyes. Better still, consider looking at their website to check.
