You will find another staircase at the end of the hall that takes you up one level to another hallway. Follow the hallway left and then down at the exit. You should come up in a large area of plants. Under most of the plants are holes that you can fall and die in. Slowly begin chopping away the plants following the patches that are solid. try to go right and then up and then left to reach the owl statue inside the wall of rocks. there is one large plant in front of the owl. Cut it away. now use the shovel that you get from the shop in your home town to dig up that area of dirt. the slime key is buried there. Good luck with the temple. :)
