Because the PINK is part of a scam. They supposedly donate part of the "proceeds" (which means part of the profit -- profit only) to breast cancer research. Typically it is about 1/100 of a cent per item.

Save your money. If you want to donate to a charity, writh them a check yourself and claim the tax deduction on YOUR 1040. Why would you help some bloated company write off more money...assuming they actually make a donation...
