To get Tech Points in Virtual Villagers 1 or 2, you need to have a villager research. Do do this, simply first click on a villager's info. Then do a check at "Research." Every time he goes to the research table he will become a better scientist, eventually a Master Scientist. Drag the villager to the research table. He will become a better scientist, help you solve things on the island, and earn you tech points. You will have to keep making him earn you tech points until you have enough to buy something with them. (You can buy things with the tech points, such as allowing villagers to harvest coconuts. Click on "Tech" for more info.) Hope this helped!

If you mean on VV Origins and the to-be garden field in the middle-left, it's because only builders continue to water the field. Villagers with other occupations only water it once; you have to drag them onto the field and have them walk to the lagoon and back if you want them to do it again.

It can be because of starvation, disease or old age

You need three master builders to open the box. Once you have them, drag all three onto it and they should open the box.

There are many places one might go to play the game Virtual Villages 2. The most reputable resource would be from the official game website or from a popular gaming website.

You need level two science to start. First, get enough tech points to do this. Once you get the level 2, a clothing hut will appear. Drag it where you want it, and drag a builder to start building. Once the hut is finished, drag three villagers who are not children or nursing to the pulpy vines. They will go to the research center for three cutting tools, then come back, cut some vines, and place them on the cooking table. Do not interrupt them or you will have to drag them back to the vines and start all over. If you run out of cutting tools, drag a villager to the giant fish skeleton and they will make three and put them in the research center. Get a bowl of salt water under the cliff for the pot, and heat a blackened rock from the bridge in the fire. After the water is in the pot and the rock turns red, drag a villager to the rock and they will put it under the pot. Then, drag a villager to the table and they will cook the vines in the boiling salt water. After black smoke rises from the pot and they are done cooking, drag a villager onto the pot and they will carry the yellow cloth pulp to a rock near the food bin and spill it on this rock. After this is done, drag as many villagers as you can spare to the pulp and they will knead and pound it to make cloth. After a while they will walk away, so drag them back and make them do it again. They will then carry rolls of cloth to the clothing hut. And there you have it! You have made cloth! Cloth is very useful, from making new clothes for the villagers for 5000 tech points each, making fishing nets, pruning the tree, and fixing the braids. However, the cloth runs out sooner than you think, so you will need to make cloth four to five times to get all these tasks done. Making new clothes for the villagers, however, only requires cloth in the hut and doesn't use up any. Well, I probably went overboard, but I hope I answered your question! Just continue to put them to work. Don't let anybody just sit around doing nothing! Each skill has a different way of improving, but as long as you continue to do the same tasks they will keep improving until the reach the end of the bar on the details screen.

Pick a master builder and go to the left of the temple and below the food carrier and put him on the sand until he starts to dig.(:

Its simple. All u have to do is have a villager, doesn't matter which one, master 3 skills. I also found that to have triplets or twins, u havta have the gong of wonder already assembled. Pick up a villager and drop thhem near it to ring it. When they do, read the bottom of ur screen where the villager facts are. U need the gift of youth. It may take several tries. But that's how I figured it out.
