Why preserve Yosemite National Park?

All I can say is if you go or have been there you will know why. Much of the Sierra Nevada mountains are preserved as parks or monuments. Travel US 395 and you will wonder no longer. Just walk into the wilderness for a few minutes to appreciate it more.
