What are memberships in FFA
Your FFA membership number can be found on the electronic FFA roster emailed to your chapter advisor. It is a nine digit number that will start with a "5". It can also be found on the address label of your FFA magazine, two lines above your name.

The type of FFA membership for agriculture students in middle and high school is called "Active Membership." This membership is available to students enrolled in agricultural education programs, allowing them to participate in various FFA activities, competitions, and leadership opportunities. Active members can develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and agricultural practices while preparing for future careers in agriculture.
1994
The Discovery Degree was added to the list of degrees that FFA members can receive in 2000. This degree is designed for younger members, specifically those in grades 7-8, to recognize their initial involvement in FFA and agricultural education. It serves as an introduction to the opportunities available within FFA and encourages further participation.
Active, Collegiate, Alumni, and Honorary
There are tons of FFA scholarships. Some are very specific as to who can qualify for them. Some are very general. While a lot of them are for certain agriculture majors, some are for a FFA member studying anything.
The National FFA Emblem consists of 5 symbols.
