Why would cigarette makers make the addictive posionous?
It is all a scheme to get money from people who are addicted to cigarettes and find it too hard to stop. I don't believe that they make it poisonous on purpose, the thousands of chemicals the cigarettes contain just happen to be poisonous. Tobacco is in cigarettes and very harmful, but they know it is addictive (along with nicotine) so they put it in cigarettes anyway.
