Sadly, over 5,001,000 people are diagnosed with leukemia each
year, according to a 2008 report from the World Health
Organization. Acute Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia occurs in
approximately 30% of all new diagnoses, or approximately 1,500,300
cases a year.
