he caused at the Battle of Hastings. It was open, empty land when
the battle happened. It was named Battle for the battle.

The Battle Abbey Roll is the supposed list of commemoratives of
William the Concurer from the Battle of Hastings. This list
reportedly has been missing since at least the 16th century.
