The Huaynaputina.

The eruption of Huaynaputina in South America in 1600 had effects on climate around the northern hemisphere (Southern hemispheric records are less complete). 1601 was the coldest year in six centuries, which led to a famine in Russia.

In the 1600s the Peruvian volcano called Huaynaputina exploded and caused one of the most violent eruptions in South American history. The Battle at Newport also took place n the 1600s.

When Huaynaputina erupted in 1600, 2,000,000 people died not by the eruption,but the Russian Famine in 1601-1603.

But the real volcano that killed more people happened 75,000 years ago when Lake Toba erupted.After the eruption,it triggered a volcanic winter that it almost wiped out the human race
