Chances are that model is from a stock photography website. Photographers that use stock images hire models both agency represented and freelance, to shoot with them and the images are then uploaded to the respective stock photography websites. Your best bet is to try to track down the stock photography website and do a search for related images. These sites list the names of the photographers that took the pictures so maybe you can find out that way who the model is. But again, trying to identify models that are on stock photography websites is very difficult.

Stock photography websites, such as Stock Exchange, can be a valuable source of free stock photography. Often times, however, a designer will want specific stock artwork, which often can be purchased in license from stock photography companies, both online and offline.

As of 2013, there are around twenty companies that buy stock photography. Some of the names of the companies are AP Images, Shutter Stock, and Flickr.
