Periodontal diseases can be easily treated

Several distinct forms of periodontal disease are known. These are gingivitis, acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis, adult periodontitis, and localized juvenile periodontitis

Periodontal is a gum disease. Bacteria build up on the gums where the gums are attached to the tooth. It can be seen as a thick sticky layer which becomes a part of the tooth but different in color. It ruins the smile and harm your tooth and gums very much. It is a result of bad oral hygiene, not properly brushing and flossing the teeth.

Left untreated, periodontal disease results in the destruction of the gums, alveolar bone (the part of the jaws where the teeth arise), and the outer layer of the tooth root
