Certain printers do, yes. These types of printers are called
Laser Printers. The other type, which uses nozzles and ink
cartridges, is called an Ink jet Printer.
The drum on a laser printer might not be the kind you're
thinking of. It's actually just a big rotating tube that transfers
the toner from the toner cartridge to the paper. The toner is
particles that have a positive charge, and are attracted to the
drum where there is a negative charge (The drum is negatively
charged by a laser, thus the name Laser Printer).
