Rank Xerox was created in 1956.

There no longer is a company called Rank Xerox. Xerox Corporation bought out the stake of the Rank Organization in that joint venture many years ago and the company is now called Xerox Europe.

In 1962, Fuji Photo Film and Rank Xerox entered into a joint venture partnership to form Fuji Xerox. Fuji Xerox is the longest operated partnership between an Japanese and American company today.

Hi guys I worked for Rank Xerox from 1970 till 2001. I can't directly answer the question, but I can tell you that in the late 1970s we were using a fax machine (I think the 485) which was the first machine I recall.

They rented a new Xerox machine from Xerox Corporation.
