Whitechapel Bell Foundry was created in 1570.

The original bell was cast in Stockton-on-Tees, a market town in northeast England in 1856. The bell cracked and was recast at the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in 1858.

There were a couple different creators of the Liberty Bell. It was originally made by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in England, and it was later recast by John Stow and John Pass twice.

John Pass and John Stow recast the Liberty Bell twice in Philadelphia in 1753. The bell was originally cast in 1752 at Whitechapel Foundry, London England.
